As a System Engineer you will be responsible for development and support of our WMS and logistics applications for customers throughout North America, as well as affiliate group companies. Key Responsibilities and Duties: • Developing professional desktop and mobile systems • Consulting, defining business requirements, designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications • Implementing new software and technologies • Provide technical advice, guidance, training and support to users on hardware and applications • Assessing and troubleshooting issues through resolution as a point of contact • Participating in business meetings with customers Skills/Qualifications • Experience or understanding of software design and development tools and technology • Experience or understanding of IT service processes, incident, problem, and change management • Good analytical and problem solving skills • Self-starters who are flexible and works well with others internally and externally • Taking initiative to find solutions for business requirements • Some knowledge of infrastructure, network and desktop environment is preferred • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management Education and/or Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent • 0-2 years experience in application design and development • Experience with WMS/SCM and/or freight forwarding systems a plus but not required Language Skills: Fluent in English; business level Japanese Technical Skills: • Database: Oracle, MS-SQL Server, MySQL • Software: Visual Studio, Eclipse, SVN • Programming Language: VB.NET/C#, Java • Experience with Angular framework and/or Bootstrap library a plus • Experience with data transformation of flat files, CSV, Excel, XML, JSON, ODBC and workflow automation a plus

Essential Job Functions a. Systems Support • Provide first level support for the computer users as it relates to the IT infrastructure technologies, work with clients to determine details related to the request, determine root cause of the issue, communicate this to the client, and correct the issue in a timely manner, liaising with support vendors as required • Perform testing and regular servicing of equipment and software • Create and maintain documentation • Orient users to new systems or software applications, as required b. Systems Deployments • Perform setups of new equipment and/or software and upgrades to existing systems • Carry out all technologies’ requests with focus on security, business continuity, and performance • Plan and execute hardware refresh activities • Work with Sleeman/outside consultants/vendors as required • Support new project initiatives ensuring all assigned activities are completed as per the project plans c. Infrastructure Maintenance • Monitor server vital signs, including event logs, free disk space, and backup jobs to identify issues and trends • Report Server/Network issues to other System Administrators and assist where required • Maintain infrastructure documentation, including port maps and static IPs • Assist other System Administrators when required with operating system upgrades, software upgrades/installation, applying Microsoft patches, anti-virus updates, physical assistance when required • Assist with server/storage/network/hardware lease rollovers • Assist Management with special projects and documentation, as required d. Administrative • Provide periodic task status updates to the team • Enter all issues/tasks assigned into the Issue Tracking System and keep status up to date • Practice effective communication to user community • Ensure all solutions are documented Education & Experience • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator in a corporate environment • Working towards technical certification (e.g., Microsoft, A+) would be considered an asset • Good organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize work and meet deadlines • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Logical and detail oriented • Good problem solving and analytical skills to determine and resolve issues effectively • Acceptable criminal check • Ability to support and project values compatible with the organization

SCOPE: The Customer Service Specialist is the first point of contact to ensure high quality services to xxxxxx customers. This position is responsible for investigating, resolving complex issues and processes regarding expediting orders, complaints, and product inquiries. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Understands, supports and follows the Corporate Vision, Mission & Values Statements. 2. Understands, follows and supports xxxxxx’s internal quality system policies, procedures and applicable external regulations. • Ensures compliance with export and global medical device regulations. Prepares all export documentations and record filing. 3. Acts as liaison between xxxxxx management and dealers/distributors. • Communicates with appropriate parties within the company to resolve complaints, problems, returns, and repair issues in an efficient and professional manner. • Assists the internal sales force and dealers in resolving complex customer issues. 4. Answers the phone and processes orders. • Addresses customer issues and responds to their requests in a timely manner. • Issues quotes. • Issues RGA numbers and processes returns. 5. Compiles department activities and reports them to higher management. • Maintains critical databases, such as the Customer Maintenance Files. 6. Assists the Accounts Receivable to resolve credit and collection issues. 7. Works with the Inventory Control Department: coordinates consignments, leased equipment, and trial and sets. 8. Documents and maintains current Customer Service procedures. 9. Sources new sales opportunities through inbound l.ead follow-up, outbound cold calls, emails and data analyses 10. Teams up with channel partners (Regional Business Managers, sales reps, etc.) to build pipelines and close deals.
