E-Commerce Account Manager   (79605-1)

Primary Job Functions:

1. Amazon Marketplace Strategy:

a. Work with Sales team to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for both Amazon 1P (Vendor Central) and 3P (Seller Central).

b. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and pricing strategies to optimize product listings and profitability.

2. Product Listing and Catalog Optimization:

a. Create, manage, and optimize product listings, including titles, bullet points, descriptions, images, and keywords.

b. Ensure listings are optimized for search and conversion, following Amazon's best practices for SEO.

3. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

a. Manage inventory levels and forecasting to ensure products are always in stock and available for sale.

b. Coordinate with internal teams (Business Planning / Logistics), and Amazon fulfillment centers.

c. Optimize FBA or direct-to-consumer fulfillment.

4. Advertising and Promotions:

a. Plan, execute, and optimize Amazon Advertising campaigns (PPC, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, etc.).

b. Develop and manage promotions, deals, and discounts to drive sales and visibility while maintaining synergy with other sales channels to avoid conflict.

5. Customer Service and Feedback Management:

a. Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, reviews, and feedback on Amazon.

b. Implement strategies to maintain high seller ratings and positive product reviews.

6. Data Analysis and Reporting:

a. Analyze sales data, advertising performance, and other key metrics to make data-driven decisions.

b. Prepare regular reports on business performance, including insights and recommendations.

7. Compliance and Policy Adherence:

a. Ensure compliance with Amazon’s policies, guidelines, and any legal requirements.

b. Monitor account health and take action to resolve any issues, such as account suspensions or listing removals.

8. Relationship Management:

a. For 1P, manage relationships with Amazon Vendor Managers and negotiate terms, pricing, and other aspects of the vendor relationship.

b. For 3P, manage relationships with fulfillment centers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and other partners.


Skill Sets:

1. Amazon Platform Expertise:

a. Deep knowledge of Amazon’s 1P (PRIMARY) and 3P (SECONDARY) platforms, including Vendor Central, Seller Central, Amazon’s algorithm (A9), StackLine and other 3P data analysis and reporting tool.

b. Familiarity with tools like Amazon Advertising, Brand Analytics, and third-party tools like Jungle Scout, Helium 10, etc.

2. E-commerce and Digital Marketing:

a. Understanding of e-commerce fundamentals, digital marketing strategies, and consumer behavior on online platforms.

b. Proficiency in SEO, SEM, and PPC advertising specific to Amazon.

3. Analytical Skills:

a. Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

b. Proficiency with Excel, Google Analytics, and other data analysis tools.

4. Project Management:

a. Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.

b. Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams, such as marketing, logistics, and customer service.

5. Communication Skills:

a. Strong written and verbal communication skills to create compelling product listings and interact with customers and partners.

b. Ability to negotiate with Amazon Vendor Managers or other stakeholders.

6. Technical Skills:

a. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for enhancing product descriptions (if needed).

b. Familiarity with APIs and integration tools for inventory management, pricing, and reporting.

7. Customer Focus:

a. A customer-centric approach to manage reviews, feedback, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

8. Certifications

a. Amazon Advertising certifications or any other applicable 1p/3p certifications
