Sales Manager (46133-5)
Essential Duties
· Develop the new business, new accounts
· Expand the existing account business
· Develop customized proposals and pricing strategies to win new freight opportunities.
· Negotiate rates and terms with customers to close profitable deals.
· Collaborate with Steam shipping company and Airlines, warehouse, carrier sales, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of freight movements.
· Monitor market trends, spot rates, and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
· Provide weekly sales activity reports, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts to leadership.
· Establish a high-performing and profitable freight brokerage operation and eventually take on a leadership role to guide and expand a team of top-performing freight brokers.
· Visit to customer, vendor, port, if necessary
· Providing other general support regarding shipping and logistics coordination as needed.
· Coordinating with Customs Broker and/or US Customs House as needed
