JOB PURPOSE

Manage shipment and all logistics operations at automaker's assembly plant in Charlotte as on-site responsible person in charge.

PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES RELATIVE WEIGHT

LOGISTICS CONTROL AND FV OPERATION (TF Section) 100%

1 Manage shipment and all logistics operations at assembly as on-site responsible person in charge.

2 Coordinate with carriers and arrange to ship finished vehicles from plant to dealers in US & Canada, to meet customer's delivery requirements.

3 Responsible to manage and monitor shipping lot and its capacity to keep good flow of operation and be as a main window person for Contract Manufacturing and carriers.

4 Assist and Instruct carrier drivers to find and move trucks, and sometimes find and move by themselves.

5 Communicate closely especially with carriers to avoid shipping delays caused by congestion of shipping site etc.

6 Communicate with vendors of off-site yard, if we use temporally off-site yard.

7 Report to and troubleshoot in timely manner when there is a damage and issue at on-site.

8 Report/Communicate on-site status daily/weekly/monthly to internal and external customers.

9 Create and update various reports from scratch based on customer needs, so that company can monitor the situation on-site.

10 Research, formulate, recommend, and prepare plans for operational improvement.

11 Monitor and update TDMS(inhouse) system.

EDUCATIONAL and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS and ABILITIES

1 Must: Logistics experience （shipping management/on-site management experience described above, and/or working at carrier experience preferred.）

2 Important: ready to work outside and ship lot in all weather. Communicate with truck drivers.

3 Familiar with truck driving and truck mechanical issues

4 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external customers

5 Project Management Experience

6 High skill sets of Excel(V look, Pivot table etc). Experience with Data management/Analysis/Report with Excel.
