Bilingual Temp HR Generalist 44191-6  (44191-6)

• Assists management with recruiting, hiring, terminations and other human resources related actions; prepares and coordinates documentation.
• Coordinates with employment agencies for hiring; reviews and screens resumes.
• Coordinates work visas and required documentations for expatriates and other employees.
• Makes recommendations to management regarding compensation, evaluation system and benefit program updates and changes.
• Prepares, maintains and updates job descriptions and compensation data.
• Provides orientation for new employee and exit employee.
• Reviewing performance appraisals for final process.
• Work and handle with ADM Manager and President regarding employee’s conflict.
• Compiles and inputs payroll data such as employee information, hours worked, time off requests, employee status change, and deductions.
• Collects time off requests from supervisors and employees; maintains attendance reports and PTO balance reports.
• Time record management under the regulation. Also provide time card and manage the recorder.
• Supports for employee internal training (including employee of ShinMaywa Industries, Ltd.) and employee education plan.
• Administers the Company’s benefits programs; All insurances related and 401K ; processes enrollment application, contacts insurance company for employees as needed; reviews and approves all invoices; assists employees with questions; provides reports to the insurance company and auditor. Also yearly adjustment by Audit.
• Benefits review yearly and make a decision with President.
• Enforce the Company’s benefits.
• Provide benefits educational meetings.
• Processes and maintains all documentation for work related injuries.
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and state and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
• Ensures that company procedures and policies are enforced and observed.

General Affairs
• Ensures that company procedures and policies are enforced and observed.
• Maintains employee personnel files and related documents.
• Pick-up mails and distribute to the mail to right person.
• Prepares memoranda, forms and documentations.
• Provides corporate records.
• Provides necessity information and materials for Audit.
• Reviews and updates employee handbook and company policies to ensure compliance.
• Acts as a liaison between ShinMaywa California and ShinMaywa Japan; attends visitors from Japan office; provides translation from English to Japanese, as required.
• Coordinates expatriates employee’s personal TAX return required documentations for CPA.
• Cost management for office supplies and office equipment.
• Ensures office supplies including postage stamps are maintained and replenished; and orders when necessary.
• Interfaces with vendors regarding office equipment and facility repairs, maintenance and servicing.
• Makes travel arrangements and reservations through a corporate travel agency; reviews and verifies invoices.
• Manages accounts and coordinates to maintain liability insurance programs, telephones and IT outsourcing.
• Provides and Managing drinking supplies, Kitchen supplies and office supplies.
• Serves refreshment to guests, as necessary.
• Take the initiative in answering to visitors.
• Supports for company sponsored events.
