Human Resources
Orientation of new employees in DET office, monitor to insure company policies are being followed, assist Japanese staff with day to day living (new apts. Setting up utilities, opening checking accounts, etc), support HR Manager, assist with annual meetings required by AFLAC.
Assist HR Manager with recruiting new employees

Payroll
Gather timecards on a weekly basis and send to HR Manager in Schaumburg, distribute payroll when delivered

Administration
Switchboard, ordering of office supplies and toners, building and property repairs and maintenance, company vehicle repairs and maintenance; control petty cash and reconcile on monthly basis, asst HR Manager with cellular phone equipment and services; distribute mail, distribution of holiday cards to HOACO customers, general support at Detroit office to keep office organized

Other
Hotel reservations as required, arrange for special company functions such as Christmas dinner, assist in review of new contracts to ensure accurate data

Assistance with special requests from Managing Director, Treasurer and HR/Office Support Manager

Reports to HR/Office Support Manager – Treasurer – Managing Director
