Bilingual En/Jp Purchasing Assistant  (71321-4)

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingual English /Japanese (Conversational is OK)
- Customer Service Experience preferred (In person, Phone etc.)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts
- Maintain records for containers, inventory adjustments, and price changes
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers
- Process receipts and invoices for payment
- Set up stock and vendor numbers
- Prepare cost calculations for ocean and air shipments from foreign countries
- Communicate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure efficient transfer of goods through the legal process
