Bilingual En/Jp Admi / HR Assistant  (70897-4)

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingual English/Japanese
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of prior experience in Human Resources including payroll or administrative task
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment (Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills.

DUTIES:
- Supports administration, coordination, and application of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices.
- Prepares job descriptions.
- Maintains employee files and database in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Schedules interviews and applicant testing if needed to fill vacant positions in hiring process including coordinating job posting on the website, reviewing resumes, and processing background checks.
- Prepares paperwork required to place employees on payroll and establishes employee file.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews.
- Maintains the employee handbook with updated resolutions and other pertinent information, as needed.
- Administers performance review program.
