SUMMARY
Receives, enters, and process customer orders for production items, or orders as written by sales staff, following established procedures and policies by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Receives, enters, and process customer orders by reviewing and confirming orders by customers or orders submitted by sales staff. Input order information in to order entry system.

Answers customer inquiries, and responds to customer request regarding schedules changes, expedites, cancellation, and order status.

Maintains customer account information, part number, cost and price information in computer system

Analyzes and rectifies customer concerns or claims with assistance of supervisor, and collects deposits, prepares change of address records, and issues discontinuance orders.

Works closely with warehouse and distribution staff to manage inventory levels to ensure minimum inventory levels are maintained.

Ensures on time delivery to customer by coordinating customer scheduling requirements with factories and distribution.

Troubleshoots quality, delivery, and price issues with assistance from supervisor.

Communicates to sales staff significant issues regarding customer account activity.

Backups and supports other customer service staff as needed.

Collaborates with other division, and departments to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Performs special projects assigned by superior.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Minimum two year experience in a customer service environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Good verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual (Japanese).
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operation and maintenance instruction and procedure manual.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
30% of talking over telephone and required clear hearing and speaking skills.
